Bring the Family to Golf in the NW

Make your next golf vacation a family vacation!  Of course your family is always welcome on the course but here are some additional activities that are fun for the family in each of our participating communities: 

Eastern Washington:

Spokane:
Spokane is a vibrant city with a roaring river and a gateway to great activities both indoors and out.  Located in the heart of downtown is Riverfront Park where you’ll enjoy a park filled with fun activities, art, activities, a gondola over the falls and more!  If shopping is your thing, you've come to the right place! With unique boutiques, renowned department stores, shopping centers and more, we've got it all!  While here be sure to take in one of our many area waterparks and of course a Spokane Indians Baseball Game!  Remember that Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is just down the road with access to the beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene and the historic  Route of the Hiawatha  bike trail that goes through 10 train tunnels and 7 sky high trestles. Central Washington:

Walla Walla:
Walla Walla is great wine country with more than 100 wineries in the area.  But it is also more than just wine.  It’s great for the family too with their Children’s Museum, movie theatre, a BMX track, baseball team, Farmers Markets, hiking trails and more.  You can even come shop the historic downtown Walla Walla district and enjoy a great afternoon with the family.  Find more activities here...

 

Western Washington:

Tacoma + Pierce County:
From the Puget Sound waters to Mount Rainier and everything in between the communities surrounding Tacoma, home to Chambers Bay Golf Course, are unique.  You can discover history in Fife or connect with nature at Mount Rainier. You can see moose, bision, bighor sheep and more at the Northwest Trek Wildlife Park.  You can ride the Mt Rainier Gondola at Crystal Mountain - a 2500 vertical feet summit for amazing views, hiking and more.  Or you can enjoy Tacoma's museum district with 6 major museums featuring the world's best collections and unique artwork as well as cars, maritime heritage and more.  So come travel to Tacoma in western Washington this season.  

 

Northern Idaho:

Worley:
Just south of Lake Coeur 'dAlene, Worley is home to the Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort & Hotel and the award winning Circling Raven.  The beauty of the regions can not be beat with access to water, rolling praire plains and majestic mountains.  Come see what fun awaits you in northern Idaho.

Lewiston:
Come experience the gateway to the Hells Canyon, North America’s deepest river gorge located in Lewiston, ID and Clarkston, WA .  This region offers a huge variety and accessibility of outdoor diversions.  In fact, you don't even have to leave town to find some of the best fishing spots for trolling, spinning, bait casting or flyfishing.  You can also enjoy hands-on history lessons with the Nez Perce Indians and Lewis & Clark, wildlife adventures, kid-friendly events and plenty of places to play. 

Kellogg:
Consider heading even furthern north to Silver Mountain Resort to expierence Idaho's largest indoor waterslide and the U.S.'s longest gondola ride.  You'll enjoy a true mountain expierence with hiking, mountain biking, gondola rides, indoor waterpark, golfing and more all onsite.  Learn more about Silver Mountain Resort.
 

Southwest Idaho:

Whether it's an adrenaline rush you seek, a tranquil day in the mountains, or anything in between, Southwest Idaho offers the ultimate outdoor experience after your round of golf at Jug Mountain Ranch in McCall, BanBury in Boise or Terrace Lakes Golf Course in Garden Valley.  The diversity of the five regions within Southwest Idaho defined their unique offerings. The thing that brings them all together, though, is that Southwest Idaho as a whole is a haven for outdoor sports enthusiasts for hiking, biking and exploring.  Better yet, it’s a great area for outdoor adventure no matter your age.  We encourage you to travel miles of mountain biking or hiking trails at Brundage Mountain, ride the world class rapids with the Payette River Company, enjoy Boise's Greenbelt,  take a horseback tour in the mountains, or zipline through the trees.  If food and drink tours are more your style, than don't miss the many opportunities to experience Idaho's best.  Learn about visiting Southwest Idaho for a great family vacation.

Boise:
Located in southwestern Idaho and home to BanBury Golf Course and Falcon Crest, Boise is happening and unforgettable!  Memories are made in moments and Boise will offer you opportunties for fun outdoor adventures such as riding their 140 miles worth of foothill trails, walking the 25 mile Greenbelt path, visiting their zoo in Julia Davis Park, exploring their museums and so much more.  A vibrant downtown core offers fun diningand shopping experiences.  So check out Boise, Idaho for a fun family vacation.

 

Northeastern Oregon:

Pendleton:
Widlhorse Resort is the place for kids of all ages!  While mom and dad are on the course or at the slots, kids can play in the Children’s Entertainment Center where they will find an arcade, Cineplex, Xbox360 and so much more! 

 

Northwestern Montana:

Eureka:
Montana family summer vacations are some of the best because, in the West, technology takes a backseat to beautiful vistas, a slower lifestyle, and spending time around a proverbial, and sometimes literal, campfire. The friendly nature of people that live in Montana is only part of what makes vacations at the Wilderness Club so great. The choice of activities, both indoors and outdoors, will ensure that every family member will find something to do that he or she enjoys. Families will experience a level of closeness that they have never before experienced.  So come experience the opportunities to golf, ride horses, play at the beach front, play pickleball or play at the water park.
